Why does Diskeeper no longer run after OpenVMS was upgraded to a higher version?

Several sets of images are included in the Diskeeper for VAX distribution kit, due to differences in various versions of the OpenVMS VAX operating system. Therefore, it is necessary to reinstall Diskeeper from the original distribution medium when upgrading:

from OpenVMS VAX V5.3 (or earlier) to OpenVMS VAX V5.4 or V5.5

from OpenVMS VAX V5.5 (or earlier) to OpenVMS VAX V6.0, 6.1 or 6.2

from OpenVMS VAX V6.0 (or earlier) to OpenVMS VAX V7.0 or later

Also, several sets of images are included in the Diskeeper for Alpha distribution kit, due to differences in various versions of the OpenVMS Alpha operating system. Therefore, it is necessary to reinstall Diskeeper from the original distribution medium when upgrading:

from OpenVMS Alpha V1.0 up to OpenVMS Alpha V1.5 or V6.1

from OpenVMS Alpha V1.5 to V6.1

from OpenVMS Alpha V6.1 to V7.0 or later
