What does "Online Disk Defragmentation" mean?

Diskeeper runs under OpenVMS on any disk, including the system disk, while user jobs are active, even while users are accessing files on the same disk that is being defragmented. It is not necessary to allocate the disk. It is also not necessary to plan defragmentation as a periodic event each week or month. Just "Set It and Forget It?"!
