In the FAU, some files show "****" instead of a file name
This is nothing to worry about. The FAU has identified the file by its file ID, but it simply could not translate the filename. There can be a number of reasons why this occurs. The most common reason is that the file has been marked for deletion. Occasionally, a multi-header or multi-volume file will be identified with the FID and the asterisks. For instructions, see the FAQ How can I find out the filename associated with an FID?
