What is a placed file? How does Diskeeper handle placed files?

A placed file is a file, which the system manager, a program, or a software product specifies must reside at a certain logical block on the disk. VMS occasionally adds placement control on some files inadvertently. This inadvertent placement control can usually be found on Mail and All-In-One files.
