What does "Diskeeper Truncation Failure" mean?

This error message means Diskeeper did not succeed in deallocating the space that it had used for its temporary file, which leaves those blocks incorrectly marked as allocated. Translate the error code using the command: $ EXIT %Xnnnn where nnnn is the error code. Look up the handling for the error in the VMS SYSTEM MESSAGES MANUAL. If the error code is 2234, INCSEGTRA: Incomplete segmented transfer request posted, there is no danger of corrupting the disk or losing data. No VMS errors have been logged. Have the disk drive and controller checked for hardware problems. This has only been observed on Hitachi disks with a TS controller. The blocks marked allocated can be freed up by using the command SET VOLUME /REBUILD or with ANALYZE/DISK/REPAIR with FULL privileges. We recommend using SET VOLUME/REBUILD rather than A/D/R.
