I did not uninstall Diskeeper before installing a Service Pack
Do not run the Diskeeper Uninstall!
In the systemroot/system32/ directory are the files NTOSKRNL.EXE and NTDLL.DLL, and in systemroot/system32/drivers/ are FASTFAT.SYS and NTFS.SYS. What you need to look for are files with these names, but with the extensions .OLD or .ORG. They would be in the same directories. If you find the .OLD or .ORG files, delete them.
Do
not
delete the files with the extensions .EXE, .DLL or .SYS!
After you have deleted these four files, you can run the Diskeeper Uninstall, then reboot. Then you can install Diskeeper.
This does not apply to Diskeeper 2.0 and later.
