Can't connect
First, the account from which you install and run Diskeeper must be a member of the Administrators group (and Domain Admins, if applicable), but no other local groups. Domain administrators and domain users are OK, but not Power Users, Backup Operators, and so on. If you make a change to the group membership of your account, log out and back in, then try Diskeeper.
Second, if you still cannot connect, uninstall Diskeeper, re-start your computer, then re-install Diskeeper. If you are running Windows NT 3.51, re-start your computer again. Diskeeper should then run.
