Start and stop Diskeeper using the Windows NT scheduler?

1. Start Diskeeper
2. Select Set It and Forget It from the Menu
3. In Diskeeper 2.0, select Run Schedule from the Menu, or in Diskeeper 3.0, select Partition Scheduler from the Menu
4. Schedule the partition to run continuously, everyday, all day
5. In Control Panel, select Services
6. Set Scheduler Service Startup to Automatic
7. Start Scheduler Service
8. Set Diskeeper Service Startup to Manual
9. Stop Diskeeper Service
10. Using AT commands from the Dos Prompt or the Winat.exe from the Reskit, schedule starting and stopping times for the Diskeeper service.

Example:

To schedule a Net Start Diskeeper command to run on the CORP server at 11:00 PM:

at \\corp 23:00 "Net Start Diskeeper"

To schedule a Net Stop Diskeeper command to run on the CORP server at 7:00 AM:

at \\corp 07:00 "Net Stop Diskeeper"
