Do I need to reinstall Diskeeper after installing a Service Pack?
We recommend uninstalling Diskeeper, installing the service pack, then reinstalling Diskeeper. Under Windows NT 3.51, this is mandatory because certain system files are modified by Diskeeper. If you do not follow this procedure, you will have to reinstall the Service Pack, and possibly reinstall Windows NT.
Under Windows NT 4.0 Diskeeper does not modify any system files, but we still recommend this procedure because the service pack may change the registry entry for Diskeeper. However, you do not need a new version of Diskeeper for Windows NT 4.0 service packs.
