The I/O Wait Monitor Utility takes several minutes to download.

The utility is distributed in a Text Library file format and is a compressed file. The file has been renamed from a .TLB extension to a .PGM extension for ease of download. To rename and extract the file into its original OpenVMS Backup save set format, issue these commands after downloading the file to a temporary directory location under OpenVMS:

RENAME IOW010.PGM IOW010.TLB

LIB/EXTRACT=EXTRACT_TLB^COM/OUTPUT

=EXTRACT_TLB.COM IOW010.TLB

@EXTRACT_TLB IOW010.TLB

The utility is contained in a standard installable OpenVMS save set. This save set supports OpenVMS VAX V 5.4 through V 7.0 and OpenVMS Alpha V 6.1 through 7.0. The OpenVMS Backup save set is named IOW010.A

If you are using the Netscape browser when downloading, you will get a message that there is no external viewer configured for this file type. You are given the option of saving to disk, cancelling the transfer, or configuring a viewer. Choose
Save to Disk
to download.

Installation instructions and a User's Guide are provided for your convenience. The User's Guide is provided in both ASCII and PostScript format. When downloading an ASCII file, it will first be displayed by Netscape. Simply choose
Save
from the File Menu bar to save it to disk.
