isk fragmentation is a feature of advanced operating systems that breaks up files and scatters them into pieces around the disk. While this speeds the storage of files, it results in slower file access times. Diskeeper is a "Set It and Forget It" solution that consolidates fragmented files and free space transparently in the background for faster file access.
